The singer, wHO is expecting his number one child with wife Ashlee Simpson, played the life-and-death game with a chum - simply admits he felt stupid for doing it.
He tells Playboy powder store, "I pulled a trigger on a gun aimed at myself. My friend and I did nonpareil pull each. We'd been drinking and had taken (sedative) Ambien.
"I feel stupid even talking around it. It's one of the reasons I've never owned a gun - I'm besides impulsive.
"I'd probably get unrestrained and shoot someone over a part in a song or something."
