Fall Out Boy - Wentz Played Gun Game After Drinks Binge

FALL OUT BOY rocker PETE WENTZ once played Russian Roulette during a drink and drugs orgy.

The singer, wHO is expecting his number one child with wife Ashlee Simpson, played the life-and-death game with a chum - simply admits he felt stupid for doing it.

He tells Playboy powder store, "I pulled a trigger on a gun aimed at myself. My friend and I did nonpareil pull each. We'd been drinking and had taken (sedative) Ambien.

"I feel stupid even talking around it. It's one of the reasons I've never owned a gun - I'm besides impulsive.

"I'd probably get unrestrained and shoot someone over a part in a song or something."

A number of local and national performances shortly open up opportunities to perform and turn internationally with some of Spain's to the highest degree celebrated musicians, including Juanito Valderrana, Jose Menese, and José Manuel Soto. The mid to late '90s were filled with performances all over Europe, the U.S., and Japan. Falete's debut record exhausted 39 weeks on best seller lists in Spain, finally stretch gold record condition. 2006 brought around a collaboration with Manuel Alejandro, potentially the nearly important songwriter in modern Spanish music. 'S. Darko' Star Briana Evigan Defends 'Donnie Darko' Sequel, Which Has Fans, Writer Of Original Flick Up In Arms

HOLLYWOOD — Every few years, a dubiously motivated sequel comes along that builds up as much hatred as it does prerelease hype. Sometimes these films turn out to be suckfests, like "Basic Instinct 2" or "Son of the Mask." Other times they win us over, like "Casino Royale" or "Rocky Balboa."

These days, cameras are rolling on a controversial revisiting of the 2001 cult classic "Donnie Darko," which will star Elizabeth Berkley and "Step Up 2: The Streets" actress Briana Evigan.

"Right now I'm filming 'S. Darko' in Utah," Evigan beamed when we caught up with the Best Kiss winner at the recent MTV Movie Awards. "Chris Fisher is the coolest director."

Fisher, a TV director who has previously overseen episodes of "Chuck," "Cold Case" and "Moonlight," may in fact be cooler than Fonzie smoking a cigarette at a Jay-Z concert. But that still doesn't make him Richard Kelly, the filmmaker who wrote and directed "Donnie Darko" and has unequivocally disowned Evigan's film.

"This is a sequel to 'Donnie Darko,' and it's so crazy," she explained of the movie, set seven years after the original. "It's basically about going back in time and changing something. My character is named Corey — she's a selfish, badass kind of girl. She ends up switching a moment in time to take her life — [to help] somebody else, her best friend. It goes into all different dimensions, but it's really about turning something around for somebody else, and being able to go back and have another chance."

In the original flick, it was Donnie who had all the fun. This time around, the characters of Corey and Donnie's little sister, Samantha (a returning Daveigh Chase), will be on a road trip to Los Angeles, and both will be harnessing the hallucinations and time-travel abilities that once plagued Samantha's older brother.

"I have the power too," Evigan explained. "I'm [Samantha Darko's] best friend. ... In ways, with me and her, it's like two girls on a road trip. It's a really cool, fun script. But it's darker, and I hope everybody understands it."

Calling the script "very twisted," the 21-year-old actress also said that "S. Darko" will interact with the events of the original film, à la the "Back to the Future" sequels. "We just come back [in time] and change what happened in the first one."

In addition to Kelly, the film is progressing without any participation from "Donnie Darko" stars Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal, Drew Barrymore or Jena Malone. One character that does return, however, is Frank the giant rabbit guy.

"Yes, and it's really cool-looking," she said of the imaginary character. "It's scary."

Nevertheless, many fans of the original are up in arms over the sequel, as is Kelly himself.

"To set the record straight, here's a few facts I'd like to share with you all: I haven't read this script. I have absolutely no involvement with this production, nor will I ever be involved," the writer/director recently posted on his MySpace page. "I have no control over the rights from our original film, and neither I nor my producing partner, Sean McKittrick, stand to make any money from this film."

When reminded of Kelly's comments, Evigan said, "That's fine. We've got new people working on it. We have a great cast, a great director, a great producer. So, I think it's going to be fine. We've just got to make it work with our acting, what we're doing, and hope everyone enjoys it."

Insisting that "filming's been going great," the "Step Up 2" star added that when "S. Darko" is finished, she hopes Kelly will go see the movie and give it his stamp of approval.

"That'd be cool," she reasoned.

Check out everything we've got on "Donnie Darko" and "S. Darko."

Jack Bruce, Spirit: Live At The BBC 1971-78

There was a time, a long, long time ago, when rock musicians were allowed to be more than just rock musicians. Many forget in fact that the first generation of such artists sprang from backgrounds that took in blues, jazz, classical and even the avant garde. London's early '60s venues rattled to the sounds of trad jazz and chicago blues as well as folk, rock 'n' roll and skiffle. Jack Bruce was most definitely a product of this era. it was only by the end of the decade that he was cornered into behemoth blues rockdom with the supergroup Cream. When the acrimony and work rate saw the band splinter, Eric Clapton turned to heroin and southern rock. and Ginger Baker decided to explore African polyrhythms. But Bruce was somewhat more eclectic. He somehow balanced a career that saw him forge his own songwriter's career (with Pete Brown as his trusted lyricist) and also return to his jazzier roots. This handsome box set draws together some of the peaks of these years that saw him plow a very musicianly furrow.

Four outfits accompany Bruce on these recordings of live and studio sessions. Each one, apart from his trio work with John Surman and John Hiseman, mixes players from all backgrounds. The 1971 set includes old boss and black magick aficcianado, Graham Bond, on keyboards as well as future session legend, Chris Spedding, on guitar and John Marshall (Soft Machine) on drums. It's a fine mixture of blues standards, Cream classics and solo numbers from Jack's first solo masterpiece, Songs For A Tailor.

By 1974 his restless search for a new band had turned up a stellar cast including Mick Taylor who had recently left the Stones due to his own creative frustrations. Here again the template is just as varied, with Carla Bley (on some questionably dated synth noises) as well as Bruce Gary and Ronnie Leahy. This outfit's flexibility is awesome. turning in knotty numbers including an impromptu version of Tony Williams' Spirit.

By 1976 the fusion monster was out of the box, and Bruce was rubbing shoulders with Simon Phillips (drums) and Tony Hymas (keyboards). Bruce uses the opportunity to air some totally new material while still referencing his past with a great version of Born Under A Bad Sign. By this point the ability of musicians to explore was being hampered by an industry more concerned with fiscal returns and niche marketing. A round peg in a square world, Bruce's days as a legend were now numbered. More's the pity.

Standing alone in all this are the two sessions completed for Radio 3's Jazz In Britain with Surman and Hiseman. While Hiseman crossed the jazz rock boundaries himself with Coliseum, Surman's out and out jazz chops certainly allow no room for blues cliches. Bruce's bass is wonderfully rich and at home here, with his fretless explorations on the latter session in 1978 proving that he could so easily have become a bona fide pillar of British jazz. It's interesting to compare their 1971 version of Powerhouse Sod - a staple of Bruce's live sets for years- compared with the live version from the same year. The first is a fabulously intuitive piece of free blowing, while the second is a fuzzed out monster. listeners can take their pick as to which one is preferable.

It seemed that Jack's very musical erudition would prove to be his undoing. Like Jeff Beck, his restlessness and commitment overrode the commercial gains to be won by the more mainstream Clapton. As a bass player it was always going to be difficult to gather the same plaudits as a hotshot guitarist, yet this excellent collection proves what a versatile player and utterly distinctive singer Bruce really is. It also proves that for a brief spell in the '70s, it was still possible to explore multiple genres without fear of losing or confusing an audience yet to be hung up on styles and fashion.

50 Cent's New York Home In 'Suspicious' Fire

Rapper 50 Cent is "eager" to discover the authorities' findings
surrounding the fire that engulfed his New York home, endangering his son and ex-girlfriend.
The Long Island estate - owned by 50 Cent and occupied by his former lover Shaniqua Tompkins and their 10-year-old son Marquise - was set ablaze in what New York cops have called a "highly suspicious" inferno that raged at 5am on  Friday.
The home has been at the centre of a bitter dispute between the hip-hop star - real name Curtis Jackson - and Tompkins since last month's ruling that she and Marquise must leave the rapper's mansion by the end of 2008.
The star's spokesperson says, "Informed this morning while filming a new motion picture on location in Louisiana, Curtis Jackson expressed deep concern over this fire at his property. He is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely.
"He is confident that authorities will be conducting a thorough investigation of the incident and is eager to review their findings."
And Tompkins - who split from the rapper in 2003 - has fuelled reports a vengeful party is to blame after revealing she heard "someone" come into the house at 4am, an hour prior to the incident.
Police have sent sniffer dogs to search the rubble for a substance that may have been used as an igniter.
However, the In Da Club hitmaker is not being treated as a suspect, reports TMZ.com.
